PERSONAL PROFILE

And this is a story all about how....

profile
Korean heritage. Chicago native. New York City transplant. I'm all about hacking, breaking things and rebuilding them, blogging (www.medium.com/@jenchoi), disruptive tech, and traveling the far reaches of the world, one bite at a time.
After graduating from Cornell, I joined the management consulting ranks in search of stability and that cash money. After one too many consecutive weeks of bicoastal travel, I called it quits and joined American Express. I didn't shed my management consulting costume yet as I spent 6 months in a strategic consulting group working with Amex executives to help connect business strategy to their organization capabilities.
Soon after, I realized that consulting wasn't the right gig for me. Fueled by a passion for mobile and an interest in product, I joined Amex's mobile / digital group and became a bona fide product manager.
I connect teams to build great products and am eager to be a part of anything that will change the way we live.
